West Wight Triathlon

West Wight Sports Centre 9am

This is one of the most picturesque triathlon events in the South of England. It consists of a 600m pool swim, 35km cycle and 7.5km run. The cycle route takes in the spectacular coastal Military Road and the run is a flat out and back route along the River Yar.

Wayfarer's Sunday Run

Hills Killer

Freshwater, Chale, Sandown 9am

Take on the challenge of an orienteering event against the clock as you pit your bike against the 3, 7 or 14 Hills. For those that survive there will be refreshments and entertainments at Afton Park, Freshwater. Registration from  9am. 3 Hills (approx 13 miles) start Chale Green, 7 Hills (approx 26 miles) start Freshwater, 14 Hills (approx 52 miles) start Sandown Airport. A £20 cheque deposit is required for timing equipment.

Isle of Wight Police will be cycling around the Island for charity starting at Cowes Police station and following the Round Island Route taking all the Police Stations along the way. This is a charity fundraiser and not open to the public but sponsorship and support would be welcome.
